Terms of Service
Last updated 10/31/2026
These terms apply to ReviewEngine, review management software provided by LocalPro One LLC (“LocalPro,” “we,” “us”), Parrish, FL. “You” means the business that signs up. By starting a trial, completing checkout or using ReviewEngine, you agree to these terms. We keep the wording simple on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us before you sign up.
1. The service
ReviewEngine helps you request reviews from your customers, collect feedback, reply to reviews, and display reviews on your website and social media. Features available to you are the ones included in your plan as shown on our website and at checkout. ReviewEngine is built on software licensed to LocalPro by a third party, and features may be added, changed or retired over time.
2. Free trial, price and billing
- 14-day free trial: new accounts get a 14-day free trial. A payment card is collected when you sign up. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
- After the trial: if you do not cancel, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and your card is charged the monthly price shown at checkout. After that you are billed monthly on the same date.
- No long-term contract: plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You will not be billed again after that. Payments already made are not refunded.
- Payments: payments are processed securely by Stripe. If a payment fails, your account may be paused or suspended until it is brought up to date.
- Text message add-on: if your plan includes text messages, we set up a texting number for your business and register it with the phone carriers using the business details you give us. You confirm those details are accurate and that you are authorized to provide them. Texting may not be available until carrier registration is approved, which can take days or weeks, and we cannot guarantee approval. Daily text limits apply. We are not responsible for texts that are blocked, filtered, delayed or not delivered by carriers.
- Usage limits: your plan may include daily or monthly limits (for example on review requests or text messages). Limits are shown in your plan.
3. Reviews live on third-party platforms
Reviews you collect are posted by your customers on platforms such as Google, Facebook, Yelp and others (“review platforms”). We do not own, operate or control any review platform. You understand and agree that:
- Review platforms decide on their own whether a review is published, filtered, hidden, flagged or removed, and they can change their rules, algorithms and features at any time without notice.
- Reviews can be removed or hidden, ratings can change, and business profiles can be suspended, restricted or deleted by a review platform for reasons we do not control and may never be told.
- Changes made by a review platform or another third-party provider may limit or stop some ReviewEngine features from working.
We are not responsible or liable for any review, rating, testimonial or business profile being removed, deleted, hidden, filtered, flagged, lost, changed or suspended, whether by a review platform, a third-party provider, your customers, your team, or any other cause, and we do not have to restore them.
4. No guaranteed results
We do not guarantee any number of reviews, star rating, response rate, search ranking, visibility, traffic, leads, sales or other business results. Results depend on your customers, your business and the review platforms.
5. Following review platform rules and the law
You are responsible for how you use ReviewEngine and for following the rules of each review platform and all laws that apply to you, including rules on consumer reviews and testimonials, advertising, email and text messaging. In particular, you agree that you will not:
- post, buy, write or ask for fake reviews, or review your own business;
- offer money, discounts, gifts or other incentives in exchange for reviews where the platform or the law does not allow it;
- ask only satisfied customers to post public reviews, or discourage or block customers from posting honest reviews (“review gating”);
- pressure, threaten or mislead customers about reviews, or misrepresent reviews or testimonials;
- use ReviewEngine for spam or for anything illegal.
6. Your customers’ contact information and consent
You are responsible for the contact lists and customer information you add to ReviewEngine. You confirm that you have the right and any required permission or consent to contact each person by email or text message, and that your messages follow the laws that apply (including the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act) and the rules of phone carriers and email providers. You must honor opt-out requests. You are also responsible for having permission to display your customers’ reviews, names, photos and videos on your website, social media or marketing.
7. AI features
ReviewEngine can suggest replies and summaries using artificial intelligence. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Review every reply before you post it. You are responsible for anything you publish, including AI-suggested content.
8. Your content and data
You keep ownership of your content and your customers’ information. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide ReviewEngine to you. Keep your own copies of anything important. We do not guarantee that data, reviews, videos, images or settings stored in ReviewEngine will be kept forever or will never be lost, and we are not liable for lost or deleted data. After your account ends, we may delete your account data.
9. Your account
Keep your login details safe and give team logins only to people you trust. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by your team members.
10. Availability
We work to keep ReviewEngine running, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” It may be interrupted for maintenance, outages or problems with third-party providers (for example hosting, email delivery, text messaging, video, AI and payment providers). To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, customers, reviews, ratings, data or goodwill. Our total responsibility for any claim related to ReviewEngine is limited to what you paid us for ReviewEngine in the 3 months before the claim.
12. Protecting us
You agree to defend and hold harmless LocalPro One LLC from claims, fines, penalties and costs (including reasonable attorney fees) that come from your use of ReviewEngine, the messages you send, the content you publish, or your breaking these terms, a review platform’s rules or the law.
13. Ending service
You can cancel anytime from your account’s billing page or by emailing us. We may suspend or end your account if these terms are broken, if a payment goes unpaid, or if your use puts us, a review platform or other users at risk. When your account ends, access to ReviewEngine stops at the end of the paid period, and your review pages, widgets and review wall stop working.
14. Changes
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Changes to your price will be communicated before they take effect.
15. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy.
